  The Gift
Purdue will come to Champaign tomorrow night without the 18.2 points and 7.1 rebounds of Carl Landry who suffered a torn ACL against Minnesota on Satuday. Even with Landry in the lineup, Purdue was a miserable 7-18 overall and has won only three conference games.

With the Illini expected to easily handle the Boilermakers, the biggest question facing reporters was what gift Coach Bruce Weber is planning to give to Gene Keady following his last game against the Illini.

Mark Tupper writes Weber has struggled to find the perfect parting gift for Keady. The only thing we know for sure is what the gift is not: a Victory for Keady.

This is one of the last games of Keady's Big Ten coaching career and Tupper has a couple of posts on his blog about Keady that are worth reading.

The game will be carried by ESPN2 at 8:00 p.m. Official Illinois game notes here.

UPDATE: The Boilermakers are 24-point underdogs.
