  Krush supports Jimmy V Foundation
The Jimmy V Classic is three quarters done and Vitale just left center court after his annual impassioned pitch for raising money for the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research. It's a great event for a great cause and it warmed my heart to see that the Orange Krush will donate $50,000 to the Jimmy V Foundation this Thursday night during halftime of the Fighting Illini game versus Georgetown.

Not only does the Orange Krush make Assembly Hall one of the most difficult places for visitors to win in the country, they also raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for worthy charities like this one. Illini Wonk salutes you, Orange Krush.
